Filters are sheets of filtering media that remove debris and contaminants from the air as it’s pulled into a fan. They help prevent overheating and damage to equipment by preventing dust and debris from building up on the fan blades and entering the enclosure. Also called a muffin fan filter, these thin, flat sheets fit behind a compatible axial fan guard and are used to replace clogged or damaged filters. They’re commonly installed on fans operating in dusty areas.
