This is the new SainSmart 3D Printer Starter Kit, developed specially for those beginners who are interested in 3D printer. You will have a complete set of Sainsmart’s most common and useful electronic components. What’s more. We will offer you a detailed tutorials including project introduction and their source codes(Please contact us for the tutorials and the project).You may learn about Sainsmart through using these basic projects.

Overview:

1. Sainsmart Sanguinololu 1.3

The board is designed to be flexible in the user’s power source availability, allowing for an ATX power supply to power the board, or the user can choose to install the voltage regulator kit for use with any power supply 7V-30V.The board features a developer friendly expansion port supporting I2C, SPI, UART, as well as a few ADC pins. All 14 expansion pins can be used as GPIO as well

1.Sanguinololu IC : Atmega1284p
2.Supports multiple communication configurations
–2 thermistor connectors with circuitry
–2 N-MOSFETs for extruder/bed, or whatever
–Selectable 12v(or supply voltage)/5v endstop voltage
–Edge connectors enabling right-angle connections
–13 Extra pins available for expansion and development – 6 analog and 8 digital, with the following capabilities, and SD CARD SUPPORT

3. Supports multiple power configurations
— Logic & Motors supplied by ATX power supply (needs molex harddrive connector, and optional 4pin atx connector for additional 12v/supply voltage)
— Logic supplied by USB bus ,optional on-board voltage regulator (molex harddrive connector cannot be installed at the same time)
— Motors supplied by 5mm screw terminal 7-35V

2. Sainsmart A4988 driver

This product is a carrier board or breakout board for Allegro’s A4988 DMOS Microstepping Driver with Translator and Overcurrent Protection by Pololu; we therefore recommend careful reading of the A4988 datasheet before using this product. This stepper motor driver lets you control one bipolar stepper motor at up to 2 A output current per coil.

 

3. SainSmart Mechanical Endstop

SainSmart Mechanical Endstop perfect for any 3D printer (Including Prusa Mendel i2, Prusa i3, MendelMax, Rostock etc…) also for use on CNC machines and other electronic applications.

4.Sainsmart LCD 2004 Controller for Sanguinololu

This Smart Controller contains a SD-Card reader, an rotary encoder and a 20 Character x 4 Line LCD display. You can easy connect it to your Sanguinololu board using the “smart adapter” included. After connecting this panel to your Sanguinololu you don’t need your pc any more, the Smart Controller supplies power for your SD card. Further more all actions like calibration, axes movements can be done by just using the rotary encoder on the Smart Controller. Print your 3D designs without PC, just with a g-code design stored on the SD card.
